4) Cookies

5) Responsibilities in the use of the website and the application, CHEQUI.COM.
The USER is solely responsible for creating an alarm / verification.
When the "SOS" key is pressed and its second confirmation, all the mechanisms are activated and the emergency services are alerted.
The operator immediately calls the USER in his language.
If the USER answers this call, CHEQUI.COM will act according to his wish.
If the USER does not answer this call, the emergency services will be notified immediately.
In the case of a false alarm or an erroneous action, the user can cancel this generated alarm by pressing the "All OK" key. This action stops immediately and cancels all mechanisms.
The only person responsible for the costs that can cause a false alarm is the USER who has activated this false alarm / verification. (Emergency expenses, travel expenses, etc.)
At all times, the USER must have an active telephone line and working with the Internet and the location must always be activated and operational. If one or more of these points are not active, the application will not work and the service will be temporarily suspended until the USER, CHEQUI.COM is notified by phone or email so that the service becomes operational again or when the USER returns it to activate. in your control panel.
The USER is obliged to complete the questionnaire in its entirety or in good faith at the time of the conversation (according to the wishes of each USER) and to update this information at any time.
The USER must always be updated with payments to CHEQUI.COM. One week before the expiration date of the contract between the user and CHEQUI.COM, the user will be notified by email, message, SMS and / or regular letter of this expiration date. With a pending invoice, CHEQUI.COM reserves the right to temporarily suspend the service until the total payment of the pending invoices.
The USER himself programs his "Check" and, therefore, the USER must be aware that he is aware of the particular time when this alarm is sent to the USER. If the USER does not confirm the check, a second alarm is automatically sent to the USER after 10 minutes. If the USER does not confirm this second verification, a third alarm is automatically sent to the USER after 5 minutes. If the system notes that this third alarm is also not acknowledged, the procedure begins:
The USER is called by an operator in his language.
If we do not receive a response, the contacts specified by the USER will be notified.
If we still do not receive a response, emergency services will be notified.

If a USER believes that he is not present in Spain for a certain period of time, he must temporarily deactivate this service in his control panel or notify CHEQUI.COM. The day the USER returns to Spain, the USER must activate this service again in his control panel.
A deactivation or cancellation of the service can never be eligible for a partial or total refund of the contracted service.
By contracting the service and paying for it, the USER automatically confirms that he agrees with these Legal Terms of Use / General Conditions.
CHEQUI.COM is not responsible for fraudulent or negligent use by users or third parties.
CHEQUI.COM is not responsible for the illegal use of the website by users or third parties.
Each contract is personal and only valid for the person whose details are specified in the profile. This registered person can only use the services of CHEQUI.COM for himself and never for third parties. If an SOS is registered and then it turns out that it is not the registered person, the registered person will be billed an amount of 250 euros + VAT.
CHEQUI.COM is not responsible for technical failures and difficulties caused by users or third parties.
CHEQUI.COM is a "secure site" with SSL code and is not responsible for viruses or other harmful elements on the user's computer.
CHEQUI.COM is not responsible in case of interruption, availability or accessibility of the website if these are caused by users or third parties.
CHEQUI.COM is not responsible in case of interruption of telephone or internet services.

As soon as the USER is hospitalized, the contract between the user and CHEQUI.COM will be deactivated. Upon leaving the hospital, the USER must activate this service again. CHEQUI.COM has express permission to notify the contacts provided by the USER.
CHEQUI.COM has a central that works 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
CHEQUI.COM confirms that, in case of hospitalization, this will be done in the hospital chosen by the USER. If this is not possible (for example, if the USER is too far from home at the moment), it will be done in the closest possible hospital. (As specified in the contract and according to the possibilities of existing health insurance)
In case of hospitalization, CHEQUI.COM is in charge of housing the pets according to the wishes of the USER.
CHEQUI.COM notifies the contacts specified by the USER.
CHEQUI.COM is in charge of sending your passport and insurance details to the hospital.
CHEQUI.COM is responsible for notifying family members that you have specified by text message or email. (Also abroad)
IMPORTANT: The prices and services of Chequi Lifeguard are limited only to the Spanish territory.
6) Management of keys and codes
CHEQUI.COM It has the "key management" service available to the USER. It is possible to contract this service under the following conditions:
1. The USER delivers the key in a sealed letter envelope (special letter envelope provided by CHEQUI.COM.)
2. The envelope of the letter only contains an internal code number of CHEQUI.COM.
3. Keys are kept in a safe with a code number, never by name.
4. When the key is delivered, a permit is signed (Spanish / Dutch).
5. After concluding the contract or by simple request, the password, in the same condition, will be returned to the USER.
6. Key management itself is free, but each time this service is required, € 60 + VAT are charged at the same time for travel costs.
7) Intellectual and industrial property rights.
The contents of the website and the application, CHEQUI.COM and the name itself is protected by intellectual and industrial property rights. Its use is prohibited, as is its exploitation, reproduction, public disclosure or distribution.
8) Payments.
Until the amount owed has been payed into CHEQUI.COM bank account, the contract concluded between CHEQUI.COM and the Client is automatically suspended without any possible compensation for the suspension of this contract.
9) Limits of the contract
How many alarms are included in my contract?
You can generate as many alarms as you need, there is no limit for justified alarms
How many false alarms are included in my contract?
Every customer should be aware that a false alarm generates useless and unnecessary work in our Chequi plant. Also in case of a false alarm we will try to contact you by all means we have at our disposal. We call you on your mobile phone, landline, your SOS button and if we can't reach you, your contacts will be called. If we can't talk to them either, we'll call the municipal police of your place of residence or the Civil Guard / Guardia Civil or any other authority and this, in case of false alarms, can cause you a lot of trouble and also take away the credibility of our emergency center. It is therefore strictly forbidden, under any circumstances, to generate a false alarm.
Penalties for false alarms:
False alarm with SOS button: maximum 3 per year and after that the customer will be excluded from our services and the Chequi connection fee will have to be paid in full again.
False alarm for not answering a daily check / Chequi: The customer is immediately excluded from the Chequi / daily checks.
In no event shall an exclusion from our services for these reasons be sufficient grounds for any refund of any amount paid to CHEQUI.COM
10) Communication
CHEQUI.COM can communicate with the USER by post, email or text message. Likewise, the USER can send messages to CHEQUI.COM by post, addressed to the company's registered office or by email: info@chequi.com
11) Jurisdiction and applicable law
These legal conditions of use have been drafted in accordance with Irish law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Ireland.
12) SOS device
The SOS device is the property of CHEQUI.COM. and after the termination of the contract, it must be returned in the same conditions to its legitimate owner: CHEQUI.COM.
By handing over the SOS device and signing the attached contract, the user has clearly indicated that he knows the following guidelines.
a- The user is solely responsible for the correct use and maintenance of the SOS key.
b- The SOS key should never be used on bare skin. If this happens, the electrical contacts may turn black and cause a short circuit.
c- If used on bare skin, daily maintenance with a damp cloth is sufficient to keep these contacts clean.
d- The SOS key is not waterproof and should not be used in direct contact with water.
e- If one of the previous points is not fulfilled, the damage caused will be charged to the user and if a deposit has been charged for the monthly contract, it will not be refunded either.
